California is preparing a ban on the sale of gasoline-powered blowers by the year 2024. And hundreds of American cities have already banned or restricted their use, in Washington they will be banned by the turn of the year.
In Europe, petrol-powered leaf blowers are not banned, but the German Ministry of the Environment advises against use.
